Apple Crisp

Yes, it’s true, I love sweets. Ooooh, I love walking down the candy aisle. However, I love baked sweets too. Oh yum. My husband and I have been training for a 10k run and so we have been trying really hard to stay away from treats during the week. (Oooh, it’s hard for me.) Last night after about 6 faithful weeks, I broke. And it was a Wednesday……..not a Saturday or Sunday (the days we told ourselves we could have treats.) Dang Wednesday. And dang craving. Or maybe I can blame the site I got a great recipe from, found here

But just look at this……..

It was so delish. (And yes Katie, those are the apples that you and your mother canned. Oh so good. Thanks.)

I just had to share the recipe that I found by searching the internet. I’m sure there are other great recipe’s on this site. With a blog name like Nothing but Crumbs, there’s got to be some great stuff. If you need a quick little dessert, hurry and try it out. You’ll be so glad you did. Mmmmmmm……..
