Are any of you Black Friday shoppers? I’ve always love it. It kind of kicks off the “giving” season…..and I’m am a serious sucker for a good deal. I can’t stay away from signs that say “50% OFF THE ENTIRE STORE — PLUS, 20% OFF ON TOP OF THAT BEFORE NOON.” It’s like the store is yanking me inside, by both of my arms. Plus, Christmas music is usually playing in all the stores, twinkly lights are generally hung, and the bigger shopping areas usually have large decorated Christmas trees. It’s just fun! However, lately, I’ve been doing more and more of my shopping online. It may be because life has gotten busier…..but I also think the Black Friday crowds have gotten a little more crazy and competitive the last few years. Wow. So, I actually didn’t even shop for one single thing yesterday in an actual store. Which is weird for me. (Okay, we did walk through Toys R Us with the kiddos, just to get an idea of what they have been really wanting but we waited until around noon, when all of the big shopping and huge sales were over. But didn’t buy anything.) But I think more and more people are shopping online. Am I right?
Anyway, I’ve been doing a little shopping the past few days, right here on my laptop. It’s kinda fun to get a little shopping done while away at family’s house for Thanksgiving, and not have to worry about how I’m going to get it all home. (Are any of your kids/grandkids into Beanie Boos? Elli has a serious obsession…) Anyway, I remember that in years past, I have put all of my PDF patterns on sale around this time of year…..for those of you who are making homemade gifts for Christmas gifts and may need a pattern or two to use.
So, happy “Cyber Monday”, a couple days early! :)
All of the patterns over in my SHOP are marked down to $2.00 – $5.00. But most are right around $3.00. Which is more than 50% off for most of them. So, grab them now, save them to your computer, and use them whenever.
All patterns are available in the Pattern Shop.
And Happy sewing (and online shopping)!
