Let me tell you what we have here: this is a printable Easter countdown calendar! Isn’t it so cute! I am seriously so in love with how it turned out!

Each day leading up to Easter you remove one of the Easter eggs on the countdown. The great thing about this Easter countdown is that you can make it as easy or as hard as you want.

If you want to make it simple, you can just remove the Easter eggs each day. If you have a little more time you can add a fun activity to do or a verse of scripture to the back of the eggs.

I think this is such a fun idea! I love all of the beautiful, bright, colored Easter eggs. It is so easy to assemble, too.

The Easter countdown does not involve any other materials besides the files (a link to download them will be at the end of this post), some adhesive, and scissors. These are probably things you already have on hand, so you won’t need to go to the store and spend money on supplies.

TO ASSEMBLE:

  • Save

  • Print out the countdown files on white card stock. (You can find a link —> HERE).

  • Cut out all the pieces for the advent calendar. Take the “hill” pieces and fold the tabs over onto the backside.

  • Save

  • Put a strong adhesive on the tabs and attach the “hills” to the countdown paper. Start by attaching the topmost “hill” piece onto the paper.

  • Save

  • Then place the next “hill” piece onto the paper slightly on top of the first “hill” piece.

  • Save

  • Continue doing this to the two “hill” pieces that aren’t left

  • Save

  • Next, if you haven’t already cut out the Easter eggs, do so now. Using glue dots, attach four Easter eggs to the paper in each row. Place them into the pocket created by the hills.

  • Save

  • That’s it! Once it is close to Easter, remove an egg every day to countdown to Easter!

That’s it! Thanks for reading everyone!
