Have you been browsing the internet lately for some no-fail dinner recipe ideas? Or how about some tried and true dessert recipes? Maybe you’ve been looking online for some great sides to spice up your main dish? If so……I’m sure you’ve come across the Six Sisters’ Stuff site. Yes, they are six biological sisters who stay connected via the internet……cooking, baking, crafting, and charming every reader who stops by for a visit. :)
And just recently, they came out with their first cookbook:
And holy smokes, this thing is packed with things we want to try.
But first, we gave their Slow Cooker Pot Roast Sliders with Creamy Chipotle Sauce a try. Aaaaaand, let’s just say we’ve made it 3 times…..and 2 of those times were with company over. YUM.
We should move onto the next recipe we have bookmarked but I’m not even kidding when I say this is our new favorite roast beef sandwich recipe. Everything about it is lick-the-plate-clean delicious. Ha. (And yes, Steve and I fight over the leftovers in the fridge.)
The Six Sisters (Camille, Kristen, Elyse, Stephanie, Lauren, and Kendra) don’t profess to be “amazing chefs”……their emphasis is cooking delicious home-cooked meals that everyone will love and sit down together to eat. So, the recipes tend to be perfect for the busy family who’d rather spend time together, than slave over multiple pots on the stove for hours. Sign me up! :)
Among the recipes pages, there are several different activity pages, snack ideas, etc.
Plus, there are even several pages of great decor and craft ideas. Very cool!
We’ve only had our cookbook a few weeks, but it is already marked up, bookmarked, and splattered with ingredients that we’ve used while trying out recipes. Yum……it’s definitely earned its spot in the kitchen.
Oh yeah, remember how I have one to GIVE AWAY to one of you??? (And no, it’s not my tattered one. ;) )
