Sneak Peek…….(plus, this family’s off to the water park!)

I’ve been working on a little something that I hinted at sharing weeks ago.  And it has to do with fabric.  And tufting.  And foam.  Any ideas?

It looks a little like this:

I was planning on sharing this project today…….but good golly, I forgot how many pictures I took of the process.  And you know me, I take a trillion photos.  Just in case that one little extra picture will help explain the process just that much better.

But instead of finishing up, we’re headed out the door to an amusement/water park……with a whole gaggle of cousins and aunts/uncles that came into town.  So happy everyone flew into town at the very end of the summer, so Oliver and I could go too.  (Though, we’ll be scoping out all of the shaded areas mostly!)

As for that sneaky little project……I’ll be back to share tomorrow!

Enjoy your Monday!

P.S.  If you follow along on Instagram, this will look familiar —

But this is what’s making me very happy these days:

    Oh. So. Sweet.
Our youngest child Ella is 11 and we have two grandsons, 1 & 3. Watching Ella with her nephews is priceless. Nothing sweeter than an older child loving on a baby.
    Thanks for sharing. :D

  11. Lorena says:

well that’s just dandy. Go on to the waterpark and enjoy yourself while the rest of us sit here and drool over the sneak peak and leave us in suspense as to what it can be. It can be an amazing headboard, a place to rest a tea cup, something to sit upon, hmmm. I don’t know but the fabric makes me swoon!
so I was just kidding, PLEASE have a lovely time with your family at the waterpark, you all deserve it and I hope you have a memorable day. …but really…your fans are in suspense…just sayin :-)
