St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Coloring Page PRINTABLE….quick and fun!
March 10, 2014 - By Ashley Johnston 10 Comments
I shared months ago that I wanted to open up the free days on my blog (that I wasn’t blogging) to others who would love to fill those gaps and showcase their own work. Your talent out there is INCREDIBLE…..and I love sharing this little outlet with others who get a kick out of creating, like I do. :) So, today is another day you get to see the craftiness of someone else. Pull up a chair (or a sofa) and enjoy with me……you won’t be disappointed.

Hello, friends! I am Gretchen from
Three Little Monkeys Studio, and I am so excited to be a new contributor at Make it & Love it. Seriously. Pinch me. And not just because St. Patrick’s Day is coming up!
Today I’m sharing a holiday printable and a couple of fun ideas for making your child’s St. Patrick’s Day special.

This couldn’t be any easier. You just need a few supplies you may already have around the house.
Wouldn’t it be fun to surprise your kiddos with this at breakfast along with some St. Patrick’s Day accessories to make them “pinch proof”? I found some cute bead necklaces and a St Patty’s pin in Target’s dollar bins. I placed them in a small jar and clipped the pin to the side of the jar with a small clothespin. Super easy presentation!
Set up your breakfast table using green or St. Patrick’s Day-themed plates, napkins and shamrock straws. I picked these up from Target, but my local Dollar Tree had some similar items. Maybe it will buy you a few minutes of peace while they color and accessorize so you can enjoy your morning. Fingers crossed!
And just think how fun this would be to distribute for a class party or to share with a little play group at home.
Want to print off a few for yourself?
Supplies:
- 8.5×11” white card stock
- a few crayons in rainbow colors, old or new
- washi tape (check Target’s dollar bins for gold washi tape)
- scissors
- corner punch (optional)
CLICK HERE and print the below images off on 8.5×11” white card stock, and trim with scissors.
Line up five crayons in rainbow colors on the printable above the pot of gold. You want this to look like a rainbow.
Place a piece of washi tape over the crayons to secure them to the printable. I used solid gold washi tape here, but any color will do.
Finally, use a corner punch to trim those sharp edges if you wish, but completely optional. I confess, I have a corner punch addiction so any excuse to use it will do.
