How can it already be 2018?? I’m still waiting for it to kick in that Christmas 2017 is legitimately over.
Wow, what an eventful year 2017 was, with plenty of ups and downs and twisty turns to work through…..but we made it!!
These little (and somewhat big) ones of ours made the whole year especially sweet!
Last year held a lot of sickness for our family (mostly me) and hospital visits and NICU stays…..but I couldn’t be any more grateful that this new year has started off so well. And that we have a very full house, with plenty of laughter (and chaos) caused by these little noise makers! And that our little caboose baby, Max, has joined us and rounded out our crew! (Man, that little guy has every single one of us wrapped around his chubby little finger! He even bosses 3 year old Oliver around. Ha!)
I’m not one for huge New Year’s Resolutions….but one thing I am committed to, is enjoying these sweet little faces! They grow SO QUICKLY…..and I’m only given a short 18 years to soak it all in! (Not even one ounce fair!)
You’ll probably be seeing me around here a little more this year (last year was a little brutal on my body)……and I’m pretty excited about that! Ooooh, and Ellie got her very own sewing machine for her birthday this year and has become a little sewing addict! So, I can’t wait to show you some fun beginner sewing projects as well as some fun baby boy projects (for Max) that I’ve been working on! Okay, and a whole lot of other items (for the girls, the bigger boys, the house, my craft room, etc) that I can’t wait to tackle and share!
One last thing…..thank you all for so much love over the years! This blog has grown and changed and transitioned in so many different ways….and whether you’ve loved or hated some of those changes, you’ve stuck around! And I couldn’t shout a bigger thank you for being so sweet to me, for sharing your success stories, for asking questions, for being so encouraging……and for allowing me to share little slices of my personal life too. This blog has helped me grow as a person and to develop so many of my interests…..and has also blessed our family financially, time and time again when we didn’t even foresee needing it. I really do have to tell you how grateful I am for this little space on the internet. And really, for each of you!
So even though this is extremely late….I still wanted to wish each of you a very Merry (belated) Christmas and a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!!!!!
Talk to you all soon!!!
