A quick question…

So, as you can tell, there have been lots of changes with the blog.  And with all of the changes, I’m just trying to tie up a few loose ends.  (Yes, I will keep adding the pictures to the tutorial lists.  No worries!!  I know, it’s so much easier with pictures!)

Okay, so I have a question for you who subscribe.

  • Are you still getting your feeds like you were before?
  • Are any of you not receiving them like you were before?
  • Are you getting the posts in your emails (if that’s what you signed up for)??
  • How about those who subscribed within the last year (that you can remember) but before the blog had a facelift?  Are you still receiving your feeds/emails??

Just want to make sure everything is running like normal.  So let me know, if you will.

And by the way, this little miss has found her toes.  Do you see those suckers?  They’re almost as long as her fingers.

We’re going to teach her to shake hands with her foot.

    how do you subscribe?

  2. Samantha says:

WHERE did you get your carseat?! I love it! :)

    1. Kirstin says:

I’d like to know this too! I’m going for a grey and yellow coordinated look and this carseat is gorgeous. Where is it from? Brand?

  3. rifaa says:

    hi ashley,
I’d just like to suggest that you possibly create a separate link for boy tutorials on your tab so things can be found easier, and without getting distracted looking at all the cute girly things and never getting to the poor boy, in my case anyway!
    Thanks!

  4. Lisa D. says:

Looks great! Absolutely love your blog, you have the best ideas. Thank you so much for sharing. Grabbed your button and added it to my page!

  5. Brittany says:

I’ve noticed in your tutorials that about halfway down the page the pictures of your projects don’t show up. just the link.

  6. Kristina says:

Oh my gosh. Cutest baby EVER. Those little toes just complete the darling picture!

And I’ve still been getting updates on my sidebar, where I have your blog listed.

  7. Lyddie says:

Oh dear me. Just found your search engine! Haha.

  8. Lyddie says:

I seem to remember there being a search engine on your site that made it easier to look for specific things before. For instance, I got some stuff to make the sewing machine cover and wanted to check and see how mine was comparing (making sure I was doing it right! I’m very much a novice) and once the blog changed I no longer found the search engine and also did not know what category to look under. So the search engine would be really nice! : ) Love love love your blog!

  9. Gio says:

Hi, still receiving everything as usual in my Google Reader. But I’m having problems leaving comments to your posts with my iPhone (using Safari): when I start to type, the virtual keyboard disappears. The same problem does not exist when I connect with my Mac, so it’s just something minor.

  10. Chrissy says:

Everything looks good to me :) p.s I LOVE your carseat did you make an insert or did you buy it that way??? suuuper cute.. and the baby isnt to bad either ;) adorable :)

  11. Sue says:

I still get your emails. The blog looks great!

  12. Anni says:

I had to re- subscribe with my feed burner but it is working great now.

  13. barbbq says:

  14. ozztam says:

  15. Shanna Walsh says:

Love, love all of your ideas! Everything has been the same through my AOL email account. We are getting ready to move into a new house, so I am hoping to get more house ideas. Thanks for all you do for us all!

  16. Sylvia says:

Seems like I’m still getting all your posts in google reader, although some of the most recent ones appeared twice the day after you changed the style.
I really like your new style, fresh and simple!

  17. Joy says:

I started subscribing through Google Reader within the past 6 months. I am receiving everything just fine. It reposted all of you past entries as if they were new when it first switched over, but that’s really not a big deal at all.

  18. Erin says:

I subscribe via Live Bookmark, Firefox’s RSS feed. It didn’t work for a few days, but has been fine since Monday.

  19. Lisa Hathaway says:

My feed to Google Reader is working just fine.

And I’m jealous of your swimsuit weather, by the way. It SNOWED here in Logan, Utah a couple weeks ago. Yes, in June. Well, technically it was May 31. And it’s been raining at least a portion of every day all summer. Zero fun.

  20. Betsy says:

I still get you in Google Reader!

Even when there was the photo confusion the other day with the Turtles… which by the way, is a project that is making me realize I might be more addicted to crafty-ness than I anticipated, I just considered trying to dig through my drawer to find a yellow shirt to cut up to make one of those cute turtles before realizing that it would be knit and not work if I did. I’ve also considered going out early to buy a car-seat for my “bun in the oven” so I can make my own seat cover for it since I’m not thrilled with the ones available…. and I don’t even know if it’s a girl or a boy yet! Just want you to know that I’m blaming this insanity on your fabulous tutorials and cute ideas. There’s NO WAY it’s my preggers hormones or early nesting or baby excitement or the fact that I have too much time on my hands. Impossible! Definitely your infectious creativity that’s gotten me ;)

P.S. I’m also (because of you) making my own maternity clothes. Or… I should be… instead, I’m rummaging through my fabric stores looking for that “perfect piece” for that silly little turtle :-P

  21. Caren says:

Yep, still getting great feeds to Google Reader! Oooh, my little guy is 5 months old, and just noticed his toes for the first time a couple days ago. fun stuff!

  22. Patty says:

I just found your blog from Crafty Sisters (great pillow cover tutorial,by the way ) and gasped when I saw you mention Sierra Vista. I lived in the area (my husband works at Fort Huachuca) for over 20 years! Now I’m back in Texas (born and raised here) and I know what you mean about the humidity! We’re slowly getting used to it, and learning to get up early to do yard work. Looking forward to going through your blog for more goodies :0) Here’s to a small world!
