Yeah, I thought I’d have costume #2 up today too. But, well, hmmmm, which excuse would you like?!?! Haha!
But just to add to the mystery of it all, here’s a little sneak peek:
Yeah, I know……it can only be so many things, if I’m following along with the Red Riding Hood theme that I started sharing the other day. But, you don’t know WHO will be wearing this or IF this child likes this outfit or not. Haha! :)
I will hop to it and finish the one last detail that I could have skipped but decided to add on at the last minute. I just had to! ;) So, it’ll be up Monday. Promise!!!! :)
Anyway, onto other Halloween costume related stuff. Are any of you busily sewing or gluing your costumes together already? Remember, if you need other ideas, there are always my Halloween Costumes from previous years:
And I love seeing your variations and twists on any of those. Really love it!! And I especially love hearing how excited you were that it worked out and your child (or spouse ;)) was in imaginary heaven in their new costume!
So, because we all need to see what others are making (and, face it, it’s fun to show off all your hard work!!), let’s do another Virtual Halloween Costume Parade this year. Just like the virtual costume parade of 2011, the parade of 2010, and the parade of 2009, upload your homemade (made by you or grandma or neighbor or friend!!) Halloween costumes to my flickr group before October 30th. And then I’ll select a large amount of you and plaster you all over my blog for the day, on October 31st. (I’m sorry, I probably won’t be able to include everyone…..because there are usually so many of you who include your costumes. Which is awesome!!!! But I would need 3 days to feature every single one. Hmmmm, now that’s an idea! ;) )
Here’s a few from last year. I can hardly stand it…….there is so many creative brains out there!
It is so fun to see what you guys are up to……..so hurry and upload them and show those little masterpieces off!!
Remember, ON or BEFORE Oct. 30th!
Talk to you soon!
