I can’t even tell you how much I enjoy board games. Maybe it’s because before iPad’s and cell phones, I grew up playing hours and hours of board games, card games, and building games with my siblings. We would play for hours….but especially Sunday afternoons. Connor and Elli are 7 and 8 and are finally at the age that they understand rules, have picked up on the etiquette of sportsmanship (crying every time the game takes a turn he/she doesn’t like, gets EXHAUSTING), and they’re starting to “get” the excitement of figuring out their own strategy.
So, we love getting new games around here. And even better, we like gifting some of our favorite games to our friends and cousins. It really is the most simple gift to give, but is easily enjoyed by the whole family! Here are several games we own and love, plus many more that we have been wanting to try……and have really great reviews!
