Happy Belated Easter….and a quick Pregnancy/Life update! :)

Oh wow, my head has been spinning for a few weeks.  And some of you have been emailing to check in on me….thank you, thank you!  I’m sorry I’ve been so scarce the past month or so, but yes, I’m doing great!  I actually sat down today to upload some pictures and post a baby project that I’ve been meaning to share for weeks…..but instead decided that I’ve missed chatting with you guys (or “at” you guys…ha!) and just had to say HELLO and give you an update of what’s going on around here!  (And then I’ll share the project tomorrow!)

Okay, okay — am I still pregnant??  YES!  (I shared about that back HERE.)  Baby is still tucked away safely inside, my belly is enormous, my feet are like elephants……but man alive, are we excited to finally meet this little baby boy!  Only 3 more days guys — 3 MORE DAYS!!!  Yep, just like the others, I’m being induced because for some reason my belly is like a steel drum and likes to keep my babies up high and sealed tightly inside without any type of progress or contraction on my own. Ha!  Maybe it has something to do with my extra long torso providing plenty of room for these little munchkins to stow away up high (and to grow big and chunky)… we just go with it! :)

Oh, and good news — this baby isn’t going to be breaking any records.  Chloe (our 3rd child) still holds the weight record for our kids, at a whopping 11 pounds!!  But this 5th baby is in the “petite” 9 pound range.  Haha!  (Do you remember when my little chunker Chloe was born?  Man, she was a deliciously plump baby girl! I miss those cheeks.)

Anyway…that’s where I’ve been lately.  Cleaning out and re-designing rooms (that I’ve been meaning to do for 2 years now), organizing closets, throwing away junk, etc.  Oh, and taking naps.  Man, I swear I’ve needed so many naps this pregnancy.  Maybe it’s because I’m so old (36…haha!), but (((yawn))), I’ve been so sleepy this round!

And I know it’s like 10 days late…but, HAPPY EASTER!!!!  Does that even count anymore since so much time has passed?  Okay, maybe not, but I did snap a few pictures of my kiddos on Easter, so I better say “Happy Easter” to accompany the photos. ;)

Yep, the sun was nice and shiny on Easter Sunday and they could barely open those little peepers for a picture!  But what a wonderful day though.  It was nice and relaxed, we had the perfect weather, and we enjoyed dinner with some sweet friends.  It was a beautiful day to celebrate Easter — the day that changed the world forever!

Oh man, these kids fill my heart right up to the top!  They are growing up so quickly and have become such thoughtful and helpful little people…especially recently.  And they have become so excited to meet this little baby boy who’s been kicking their hands constantly pressed to the outside of my belly.  (Okay, Oliver is still pretty clueless….but he’ll figure it out soon enough, when he’s no longer the chief baby around here. Ha!)

And thanks for hanging in there.  Not only for this lengthy update….but also while I’ve been a little less regular around here.  That will change soon though, because I have plenty of projects to be shared and many more that I’m dying to make!!!

Thanks again for all the love….and I’ll be back tomorrow with a fun baby project!
