Hi there, It’s me Taya from Eat Pray Create again. I am so excited to be guest posting today to show you an adorable Minion Bracelet Tutorial!!
I’ll be showing you how to make these super cute DIY Minion Bracelets. My kids absolutely love them. They love the Minion Movies and Despicable Me! So naturally, they love anything that would remind them of those funny little characters from the movies! These Minion Bracelets are simple to make and this is a great craft to do with your kids. Just look at how adorable they are!
Some have 1 eye, some 2…
Make them from bigger beads or smaller beads…
Aren’t they cute?!?! Check out this video to see how EASY they are to make!
Would you rather a few pictures? Let’s make some together. Here’s what you’ll need:
Start off by drawing a black line with your permanent marker all the way around the center of your yellow beads.
Then add a dab of E6000 glue to the back of each google eye and attach to the bead on top of the black line. Use a toothpick to add the glue to the smaller google eyes for less of a mess!
Give some 1 eye and others 2 eyes.
String the beads onto the elastic, be sure to cut the elastic several inches longer that the wrist you are making the bracelet for (to make it easier to tie). Alternate blue bead, yellow bead, etc.
Once you are done stringing the beads, tie off your bracelet by crossing the right string over the left string 2 times, pull tight.
Then cross the left string over the right string and pull through the whole you just made, pull tight. For extra strength, you can make one more knot by passing the right string over the left and pulling through the hole you just made.
Tighten your knot and then put a small dab of E6000 glue on the knot and let dry. Trim the ends of the elastic.
Let glue cure overnight. Then enjoy your adorable new Minion Bracelet Tutorial!! Makes a great birthday gift or Minion Birthday Party Craft as well.
