Re-pursposing: Knit Capri’s

This is the second half of the outfit I began yesterday.

I used the sleeves to make the shirt yesterday….and the main part of the shirt to make the little capri’s. I love how comfy knit is and it makes some great leggings of any length. And it especially makes me smile because I didn’t spend a thing.

I used the same instructions that I used to make these pants. And I just cut from the main part of this shirt…..using the bottom hem of the shirt as the hem for the bottom of the capri’s. Quick little short-cuts.

**Remember to just find a similar pair of pants that you’d like to pattern after……then decide how long you’d like your capri’s to be and adjust your measurements. (or make them into pants…..whatever you’d like.)

And matching it with yesterday’s shirt…..turned out to be so fun.

Okay, on to other projects for us grown ups next week…..and less for kids. I just get so excited seeing a new outfit out of nothing. But we have the fall season coming up and some rich colors and textures to start decorating with. Ahhhhh.
