Christmas Wall Vinyl framed with EMPTY FRAMES

Because I’ve been having so much fun with my Silhouette lately,
let me show you how I’m getting ready for Christmas….

I’ve used the vinyl (that I actually purchased here for much cheaper) to put some great vinyl right on the wall…….and then added some hanging empty frames right over top.

I just love this season.

Each of the frames are hung with little strips of red wool herringbone…..tied into floppy little bows.

(Strips of fabric were made by making long tubes of fabric, turning right side out, pressing flat, sewing ends shut, and looping through the empty frame, and then tying into a bow.)

And each of those frames are cheap-y thrift store frames, spray painted black, and the glass and backing taken out.

See how those frames are actually just framing the vinyl that’s applied to the wall?

My first piece of Christmas decor that I have displayed out in the open.

Ahhhh……I love this time of year.

The font for “Him” is called Vivaldi (came with Microsoft Word) and I can’t remember the other font used.  I just played around with different fonts until I found a simpler one that matched well.  As for the images, they are only available through the little online Silhouette store that you get access too once you install the Silhouette software.  Here’s the info on them:

**Keep in mind that you can either purchase pre-cut vinyl and make your own Christmas decor (there are many vinyl dealers online), cut it out on your own craft cutter, or buy some vinyl and cut it out with an Exacto knife.
