What YOU have been MAKING…..and LOVING! :)

Check out these adorable aprons (with a matching oven mitt) at Pick Your Plum today.  They come in kids, tweens, and adults sizes.  There’s one for everyone.  I’m kind of nerdy…..but I secretly want matching ones for me and my 2 girlies.  Okay, see ya later…..I’m off to order 3 aprons under Steve’s name, so he can gift them to me for Mother’s Day! ;)

Also, have you entered to win one of the 2 Mini iPad’s that we’re giving away?  It closes on St Patty’s day.  Feeling lucky?!?! :)

. . . . .

Have you been over to the Make It and Love It FLICKR account lately?  It’s a place where you can post photos of projects you’ve made, using these crazy tutorials here on Make It and Love It. ;)

But really, it’s one of my most favorite things about this blog……seeing you duplicate and improve upon some of these ideas I post on here.  It makes my heart swell.  (And sometimes it makes sigh in relief, knowing that my sometimes garbled instructions made sense to someone!)

I haven’t done this enough lately…..but I just wanted to share what others are making.  It’s like posting my kids artwork on my fridge.  Just as proud! ;)

And I’ll try to link over to the tutorial that others were most likely using…..in case you’d like to finally give it a try too.

The Shirred Waistband Skirt (the pattern’s in my shop), the Butterfly Sleeve Tunic, turn a Shirt Into a Shrug, and the Ruffled Heart top.  All turned out so darling.  And those models…….gorgeous! :)

And oh, stuffed toys.  I love them!  Here are the Stuffed Giraffes and the sweet little Stuffed Turtle.

And this project takes some time so I applaud those who have made one of these Fluffy Pettiskirts.  Oh, they are such fun to finish and put on your little one though.  SO, it’s totally worth it!

I love how this Tote with Round Opening turned out.  And that lining fabric is perfect!

Do you see those cute little Stuffed Owls all in a row?  Adorable.  And one of my favorite things to put on a newborn.  Felt Flower Headbands.  Cute.

And gosh, that baby model is super munch-able…..but check out the this transformation into a Braided Collar Dress.  So sweet!

I always love seeing this Shirred Top Dress with Ties (pattern’s in my shop) and then my heart ALWAYS smiles when I see this Cinderella Dress on little girls (especially when I can see in the pictures that they’re at Disneyland/world).  Probably one of my favorite things in life…….Kid Costumes. :)

And oh, that Fishy Purse with all those little scales…..loved that project.  And of course, the Clear Storage Tote for toys.  We have several of those around this house.

Look how cute this chevron design looks on this Fabric Storage Box.  And YES, I love seeing scraps being put to good use as a Scrap-Pieced Belt.  Also, my heart always smiles when someone tackles the Turn Kid-Artwork into Stuffed Toy project.  It’s just as sweet as can be.  And hooray, another Stuffed Owl.  Yum! :)

Look at all those great color combos, clever design adjustments, and happy kids holding/wearing your projects.  What fun that is for me!  And I’m sure many others as well. :)  So if you haven’t already……..upload a few of your Make It and Love It re-creations to the Flickr account.  And share what you’ve made.

Okay, I’m off to work on something that’s been keeping me busy for months now.  Secrets are sometimes okay to keep! ;)
