Gift giving season is upon us and I can honestly say that as I get older, I really could care less if I got a single thing for my birthday. Or even our wedding anniversary. Cards are great, a phone call or text, maybe even eating at a nice restaurant — that’s all I really want. But Christmas……there’s something about gifts that gets me all excited. Maybe it’s the kid in me that loves the anticipation of the season! I do love unwrapping gifts and seeing the thought someone put into a gift for me or our family but not nearly as much as I like watching my kids and husband open their presents on Christmas morning. And I also really enjoy making and delivering gifts to family and close friends. I never seem to have enough time or supplies for every single person on my list…..but I sure like to try!
Maybe you’re the same way? Then you’re going to LOVE these ideas……and will feel super proud to give these really clever and beautiful handmade gift ideas!!

Out of curiosity, why does the picture just link to itself in a new tab, instead of the full post? I love your blog, but I’ve always wondered that.
Hi Hannah….just trying to understand which picture you’re talking about? The one at the very top of this main post? Are you unable to see the entire post? Because if not, there’s a “Read More” button right under the main picture of the post that will direct you to the rest of the post. But once the post is no longer the newest post on the blog, it never shows up like that anymore. So, if you click over to an older post…..it doesn’t have a “read more” button beneath it. But the reason for adding the “read more” button is because some of my posts are really long and if the whole post was on the home page, it would take a lot of scrolling to get to the other topics that are listed below. Anyway, just trying to see where the confusion is….because I am always up for tweaking it to make it more clear. :)
Thanks Hannah!
Ashley
She’s talking abou how, normally if you click on the picture of a project, that will also take you to the tutorial, not just the words that name the project. But on your site, it just opens to a page with just the picture.
Try clicking on the title of the project. The words are the link to the tutorial, not the picture. It took me a while to figure it out too.
Love your ideas Ashley. Thanks!
Fun list. But the homemade butter links to the birch candle tutorial. I was hoping you could tell us the link so that I could see how to make them. Thanks so much!
Oh, sorry about that! I just fixed it and it links correctly now! Thanks for letting me know! :)
Love your collection of Ideas :-)
I can use a lot of them, thank you.
Have a lovely weekend :-)
Great collection, Thank you for sharing Ashley :)
